Dr.Gary Smalley (he´s writting to me haha)
"Will this issue matter 10 years from now?"For me, I have many tasks and challenges that seem to plague my schedule each week. To be honest with you, I used to dread them. Now, I work at approaching each of them with an eternal perspective. In doing so, several key changes have taken place. First of all, I see that issues are not as important as relationships. Meaning, many of the issues that have bothered me are petty, trivial, and carry very little weight in light of eternity. When you live in light of eternity your values change. Your priorities are reordered. You use your time and energy more wisely. There's a higher premium placed on relationships and character rather than things, wealth, or achievements.Think about your relationships, circumstances, and even your to-do list for today. Are they rooted with an eternal perspective? Are you living in light of eternity?
